What is S.O.L.I.D.S.?
Students Obtaining Leadership by Innovative Developmental Styles Inc (S.O.L.I.D.S.) is an organization that partners partners with schools and after school organizations with minority students interested in STEM disciplines to develop leaders through it’s curriculum, leadership development activities, and community service programs.
S.O.L.I.D.S. SOIL
We hope to be the soil in which provides the proper nutrients to help our students grow and blossom.
Seeds (Ages 8-10)
Cultivate
Seeds have greatest potential to grow when properly cultivated.
Roots (Ages 11-13)
Support
Being deeply rooted establishes a foundation to feed and support future growth.
Trees (Ages 14-18)
Growth
Trees can grow to considerable heights when properly cultivated and supported.
Our Mission
S.O.L.I.D.S. will expand the growth of young minority leaders within the S.T.E.M. realm by providing a self-developing curriculum and real life experiences to teach leadership through the structure of S.T.E.M. disciplines.
